Public Profile, Snapshot, and Banner
Public Profiles: In addition to creating your tester profile, you have the option to publish a web page that shares your uTest profile and reputation with everyone. Under 'Account & Settings,' be sure that your tester profile is up-to-date. Next, click on "Public Profile" to get started. By default, your Public Profile is not published - to turn it on, check "Enable my uTest Profile." Next, select or un-select various components of your public profile to be displayed (don't forget to click Save after you have made the necessary changes). To the right of the settings, you will see a preview of your public profile. Once you have made your profile public, you have the option to set a personalized URL for your public profile. Simply edit the custom URL field and hit save when you're done. To see a preview of your public profile, click "See my profile" at the top of the page.
uTest Banners: In addition to your Public Profile, you also have the option of publicizing your uTest Banner. This feature provides you with the ability to personalize and publicize your uTest account and status, you may you use this in your online resume, email signature, personal webpage or blog, or any other medium. First you need to select one of the preset banners to use. Under Account & Settings, click on Public Profile. Click on the second link from the top, marked "Add a uTest Banner." Select the banner of your choice, and then copy/paste the embed code to your preferred source (e.g., online resume). After you have publicized your uTest Banner, the banner will be linked directly to your Public Profile. If you select a banner that contains your uTest ratings badge, your banner will be updated automatically when there is a change to your rating.

Public Tester Snapshots: In addition to your tester profile, you also have a public Tester Snapshot that is visible to both customers and members of the community. The public Tester Snapshot is a summarized view of your profile, allowing you to show off your location, testing environment, and profile picture (if you have not uploaded a profile picture, please do so by visiting Account & Settings > Personal Information). If you have been selected as a "favorite tester" by customers, this badge will also be displayed in your Tester Snapshot. If you are viewing your own Tester Snapshot, you also have the ability to view your private Tester Snapshot, which includes information about your own performance history. Your private Tester Snapshot is not viewable by anyone but you. Here you will be able to access an overview of your historical earnings and performance. For example, the Ratings Detail section includes your badges and aggregate ratings across various testing types (you earn badges once you accumulate a minimum threshold of activity in each testing type). In addition to your aggregate rating in each testing type, you will also see your raw Activity and Quality ratings to understand how you stack up against other testers in the same testing type. Keep in mind that your aggregate rating is not simply an average of your activity and quality, but rather an algorithm that incorporates these two major variables in varying weights over time. Finally, you can also see a graph of your aggregate rating over the last 21 days, as well as your highest historical rating with uTest (post platform v4.3).
