Referring Customers

Do you have a friend, family member, or colleague in a company who may need help with their software testing? Here's a chance to earn extra cash when you refer a company that signs on with uTest as a customer. You must be registered as a uTest tester, and the following pay figures are in U.S. Dollars:

Rewards Program:

  • $250 to the tester if the company signs for one month of testing (“basic” package of functional, security, load, usability, or localization testing)
  • $1,000 to the tester if the company signs for two or more months of testing (“basic” package of functional, security, load, usability, or localization testing)
  • $2,000 to the tester if the company signs an annual deal (“basic” package of functional, security, load, usability, or localization testing)
  • An additional $500 to the tester if the company combines more than one testing type (“plus” or “premiere” package), which includes functional, security, load, usability, and/or localization testing
  • The caveat is that this customer must be new to uTest and/or we cannot already have an active proposal in front of them. Additionally, you must have a personal or professional relationship with the individual at the company you are referring, and have had a conversation with this contact before the referral

Referral Process:

  1. Discuss uTest with a company who has web, desktop, or mobile applications. You can use the attached PDF to provide an introduction to uTest.
  2. If the company is interested in learning more about uTest, you should email Referral.Rewards@utest.com with the following information:
  • Company name and URL
  • Contact name and title
  • Contact email address and phone number
  • Contact country and state/province
  1. uTest will respond within one business day (during normal business hours) with the name and email address of the uTest account manager assigned to the prospective customer
  2. You will make the introduction by emailing the prospective customer (and CC the uTest account manager in the email)
